" 2013 "
Our new cataloge has many new varieties, You are sure to find that something special for your gardens this year. I am happy to announce that my Oldest son Ryan and his spouse Tasha are taking on a more active roll in our gardens this year. Ryan with business and computer and Tasha with her banking and financial back grounds everything should be alot smoother this year.My arthritis has kicked in big time this year, But i will be here in the gardens to meet and greet all our customers and friends and enjoy the visits.
Peak Bloom this year should fall on the normal schedule the last two weeks in July and the first two weeks of August.Hopefully we do not have the drought this year that we had in 2012. Last summer Canning Daylily Gardens and the Nova Scotia daylily society sponserd the first ever Judged AHS Sanctioned daylily show, in canning. It was a great success with our American judges expressing a very positive appreciation of our turn out of 300 entries. We had members from the Ontario daylily society make the trip to Nova Scotia to see the show. This daylily show was part of our community harvest fair and drew many people from our surrounding areas to the colorful display put on.
Again, this year we are offering two shipping dates. The June 1st date and again on August 1st. All our daylilys thrive here in our Zone 5 conditions. Good luck and have a great growing year in 2013.
